These are some of our favorite photos from the first road series which never made it into any of our blogs. Some of the photos pertain to a specific moment and others are artsy, but all of them are fun snippets of Giants baseball moments.

TODAY’S GAME…The San Francisco Giants visit the Colorado Rockies in the 3rd and final game of this 3-game series…Giants’ left- hander Madison Bumgarner (0-1, 9.00) will face Rockies’ left-hander Jamie Moyer (0-1, 5.40).

YOUNG AND OLD...Jamie Moyer made his Major League debut on June 16, 1986 vs. Philadelphia (with the Cubs), 3+ years before Madison Bumgarner was even born on Aug. 1, 1989...Moyer will be appearing in his 688th career game (630th start) today while Bumgarner will be making his 57th appearance (54th start).

NATE SCHIERHOLTZ...In his 1st start of the season last night went 2-for-4 with 2 HRs and 3 RBI... Marked his 2nd career multi-HR game (also: July 6, 2011 vs. San Diego).

MANNY BURRISS...Went 3-for-4 last night for his 1st hits of the season... Has played every position in the Majors except for pitcher, catcher and center field.

DAN OTERO...Marks 1st time on an Opening Day roster...Combined to go 3-4 with a 2.31 ERA (19er,74.0ip) and 13 saves in 56 games between double-A Richmond and triple-A Fresno last season.

CLAY HENSLEY... Has 1.2 scoreless innings over 2 relief outings... pitched 1.0 scoreless inning lastnight.. 32-year-old was originally drafted by the Giants in 2002, spending 2 years in SF’s minor league system.
