Melky Cabrera snaps an 0-for-12 hitless streak with an RBI triple, and scored, in the first inning.
With 13 hits tonight, including 2 triples, the Giants got the job done – beating the Philadelphia Phillies 4 to 2.
Nate Schierholtz went 3 for 3 with his 6th RBI of the season.
Angel Pagan hit his third triple of the homestand.
Emmanuel Burriss had an RBI in back-to-back games for the 1st time since 5/27/09 vs. ATL and 5/29/09 vs. STL.
Buster Posey went 3-for-4 and has recorded back-to-back 3-hit games for the 1st time since May 29-30, 2010.
Aubrey Huff singled on a line drive to center field in the third inning.
Pablo Sandoval extended his hitting streak to 11 games with a leadoff double in 5th inning.
