TODAY’S GAME…The San Francisco Giants visit the Cincinnati Reds in the final game of this 3-game series…Giants’ right-hander Ryan Vogelsong (0-1, 3.38) will face Reds’ right-hander Homer Bailey (1-2, 3.86).

KEEP IT GOING PART... Pablo Sandoval’s longest hit streak of his career is 22 games, accomplished last season from June 19-July 30...his current streak of 18 games ranks as the 15th-longest hit streak in SF-era history...Jack Clark owns the longest such streak at 26 games in 1978.

IRON MEN... IF Brandon Crawford has played 157.0 of San Francisco’s 158.2 innings, all at shortstop...Crawford, OF Melky Cabrera and Sandoval are the only Giants to appear in all 18 games this season.

PAGAN HEATING UP...After hitting just .111 (3-for-27) in his 1st 7 games this season, OF Angel Pagan has hit safely in each of his last 10 contests, batting .298 (14-for-47)... his current 10-game hit streak matches his career-high for the 4th time.

HECTOR SANCHEZ... Has gone 9-for-28 (.321) with 1 HR and 7 RBI in his 8 games this season.
• Has started 6 games at catcher this season (4 Zito starts, 1 Lincecum, and 1 Bumgarner start).

BUSTER IS BELTING...C Buster Posey has hit safely in each of his last 8 games, batting .484 (15-for-31) with 2 HRs and 4 RBI during that stretch...Posey enters today’s game with the 2nd-highest batting average in the NL (.382) behind Matt Kemp (.449).

NATE SCHIERHOLTZ... Is batting .314 (16-for-51) with 1 2B, 3 3Bs (tied for most in Majors), 3 HRs (tied for most on team) and 9 RBI over his 15 games.
