STREAKING AGAIN…OF Angel Pagan has hit safely in each of his last 15 games, tied with Cleveland’s Michael Brantley for the longest active hitting streak in the Majors…during this current streak, Pagan is hitting .390 (23-for-59)…this is Pagan’s 3rd hitting streak of at least 10 games this season (also had 20-game streak and an 11-game streak).

BRANDON BELT… Went 2-for-4 with a BB, 2B and 2 RBI yesterday at SD…marked his 1st multi-RBI contest since May 18 vs. Oakland and his 4th on the season.

BRANDON CRAWFORD…  His 13 doubles are the 2nd-most on the team behind Melky Cabrera (14)… SF’s Opening Day shortstop has started 50 of 58 games overall.

BUSTER POSEY… Is hitting .370 (20-for-54) with 1 HR and 11 RBI against left-handed pitchers, which is the 9th- highest clip in the NL…is batting .265 (35-for-132) with 6 HRs and 22 RBI against right-handers.


That is a *flawless* picture of Buster there at the bottom. Everything about the composition is perfect, with the umpire’s mask, Buster’s mask, the glove, and the ball making a perfect diagonal that draws your eye. And I love that the only real color is the complementary blue and orange, which form a diagonal going the opposite direction. Even the out-of-focus fans in the back are wearing *only* shades of blue and orange. Add in the stop-motion and it’s just perfect. (Also that’s a fabulous picture of Buster and you should continue taking pictures of him from that exact angle as often as possible. I’m just sayin’.)
