Hall of Fame Worthy

Matt Cain signing the donation agreement to send the artifacts from his Perfect Game to the Hall of Fame.
The Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum’s President, Jeff Idelson, was at AT&T Park tonight to accept some artifacts from Matt Cain’s Perfect Game, including first base, Matt’s hat and cleats and the first “K” on the right field wall. Also on hand was San Francisco’s Mayor, Ed Lee, who presented Matt with the Key to the City and a proclamation declaring June 13 of every year to be Matt Cain day (be sure to mark your calendar!).

Thank you for posting these. Those of us watching online who don’t live in the area never see much coverage of the various pre-game ceremonies. This was great!
Sorry to hear about your job – we hope you’ll be able to find something quickly! Are you still going to go to Atlanta or is that trip on hold for now?
