ANGEL PAGAN…The former Met spent 4 years in a New York uniform, hitting .284 with 24 HRs and 170 RBI.

BRANDON BELT… Has made 61 starts (all at 1st base)…his .997 ! elding pct. leads all NL 1st basemen.

MARCO SCUTARO…Has reached base safely via hit, walk or hit by pitch in 45 of his last 52 games.

CLAY HENSLEY…Has not allowed a run over his last 8 appearances (6.1ip).
The Heat is On
The Giants play three more series against their rivals for a total of nine more games before the season is over. Ideally the results of those series will more similar to the games the Giants played against the Dodgers in June, sweeping instead of being swept. Regardless, the competition to win the division will be heated.
