LOTS OF ARMS…Last night the Giants used 11 pitchers (including Jean Machi), which tied the Major League record for the most pitchers used in a game…it marked the 5th time a team has used 11 pitchers in a contest with the last being New York-AL on Sept. 28, 2011 at Tampa Bay (12.0 innings).

POWER OUTAGE AT HOME…IF Brandon Belt’s home run last night was the Giants 1st home run at AT&T Park since August 13 vs. Washington when IF Brandon Crawford hit a pinch-hit homer…SF has just 21 homers at AT&T Park this season, the fewest home runs hit at home in the Majors.

MARCO SCUTARO… Has recorded a multi-hit game in 11 of his last 20 contests… Is tied for 8th in the NL with 43 multi-hit games this season.

HUNTER PENCE… Is hitting .301 with 6 2Bs, 1 3B, 1 HR and 14 RBI in his past 20 games… Since the All-Star break is hitting just .220 (41-for-186).
