TODAY’S GAME…The San Francisco Giants visit the Arizona Diamondbacks in the final game of this 3-game series…Giants’ right-hander Ryan Vogelsong (12-8, 3.40) will face D-Backs’ left-hander Patrick Corbin (5-7, 4.19).

BEST MOVE…Since being traded from the Rockies to the Giants on July 27, IF Marco Scutaro has batted .344 (66-for-192) with 31 RBI in 47 games in a Giants uniform…his .344 clip is the 3rd-highest figure in the Majors behind teammate Buster Posey (.370) and STL’s Yadier Molina (.362)…his 31 RBI are the 14th-most in the NL during that span.

ANGEL PAGAN… Is having one of the best seasons of his career, posting career bests in runs (83), 2Bs (32), 3Bs (13)… Over the last month (since Aug. 15), has batted .322 (39×121) w/10 2Bs, 6 3Bs, HR, 11 RBI.

PRETTY CONSISTENT.. Ryan Vogelsong has tossed 6.0-or-more innings in 23 of his 27 starts this season and has pitched at least 7.0 frames in 15 assignments….however, has lasted 6.0 frames just twice in his last 6 starts.

JOAQUIN ARIAS… Since August 1, is hitting .357 (30-for-84) with 5 2Bs, 2 3Bs, 3 HRs and 18 RBI… Is hitting .356 (21-for-59) vs. LHPs since the All-Star break and owns a .319 clip (43-for-135) overall.

JEREMY AFFELDT… Since the All-Star break, has allowed 8 runs in 26.1 innings (2.73 ERA)… With nobody on base, his opponents avg. against is .185 (24-for-130).

SERGIO ROMO… Has the 4th-lowest ERA among NL relievers, posting a 1.99 figure… only Craig Kimbrel (1.14), Aroldis Chapman (1.60) and Eric O’Flaherty (1.92) have lower marks… Has blanked opponents in 55 of 62 games, including 20 of his last 22.
