ON THE MOUND…The Giants have won each of LHP Barry Zito’s last 8 starts, while the left-hander has gone 4-0 with a 4.06 ERA (20er, 44.1ip) during that span… Zito’s 12 wins this year are the most he’s ever had in a Giants uniform and the most since he had 16 victories for the Oakland A’s in 2006.
