NLCS Game 2 – Quick Hits
TONIGHT’S GAME…The San Francisco Giants host the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2nd game of this best-of-7 National League Championship Series…Giants’ right-hander Ryan Vogelsong (0-0, 1.80) will face Cardinals’ right-hander Chris Carpenter (1-0, 0.00).

FOR THE 1ST TIME…This is the 1st time in Major League history the previous two World Series champions are playing each other for the right to go to the World Series.

GREGOR BLANCO… Hit a 2-run HR in Game 4 of the DS off Mike Leake in the 2nd inning, breaking a 1-1 tie.

MARCO SCUTARO… Is on his 2nd career postseason roster having appeared with Oakland during 2006 playoffs.

HOME WOES…The Giants dropped to 0-3 at home this postseason…it’s their longest home losing streak in postseason play since losing Games 3 and 4 of the 1989 World Series vs. Oakland and then Game 3 of the 1997 Division Series vs. Florida…the Giants have never lost 4 consecutive postseason home games.
