TONIGHT’S GAME…The San Francisco Giants visit the St. Louis Cardinals in the 4th game of this best-of-7 National League Championship Series…Giants’ right-hander Tim Lincecum (1-0, 1.08) will face Cardinals’ right-hander Adam Wainwright (0-0, 7.88).

BRUCE BOCHY… This marks the 6th time in Bochy’s career to manage in the post- season, having done so with San Diego in 1996, 1998, 2005, 2006 and with San Francisco in 2010 and now in 2012…his 6 postseason appearances as a manager are tied for the 2nd-most among active managers (Jim Leyland has 7).

BRANDON BELT… Started 4 of 5 games in the NLDS at 1st base, but went 1-for-13 (.077) at the plate with 2 BBs and 7 strikeouts…however, has gone 3-for-11 with a 2B and 1 RBI in the 1st 3 games of the National League Championship Series.

BRANDON CRAWFORD... In Game 1 of the Divsion Series, he became the the 5th-youngest Giants player to start at shortstop in a postseason game since Matt Williams in 1989 (23 years old)… Is 5-for-15 in his last 4 starts.

JOSE MIJARES… Is on his 3rd career postseason roster having also appeared with the Twins in 2009-10.

JAVIER LOPEZ… Made 2 relief appearances in the NLDS vs. Cincinnati, tossing 0.1 inning in each game.

PABLO SANDOVAL… Has been one of the Giants’ offensive leaders this postseason, going 10-for-34 (.294) with 2 2Bs, 1 HR and 4 RBI in 8 games.
