This week we look back at Game 5 of the National League Division Series. We had a reason to celebrate after losing the first two games in SF, then sweeping the Reds in their home ballpark to move onto the next series.
The winners of each week’s tournament will be published in the 2013 Giants Yearbook.

- Signed in 2007 at age 17 out of Venzeuela and spent two seasons in the Dominican League before playing in the Arizona Rookie League in 2009.
- 22-year-old catcher quickly ascended through San Francisco’s farm system in just 5 seasons that culminated with his Major League debut in 2011, appearing in 13 games.
- Rose from Single A to the Majors in 2011, skipping Double A entirely.
