ON THE MOUND…Petit enters today’s game having won four consecutive decisions and the Giants have won all five of his starts this season…the Giants last won the first five starts of a pitchers’ season in 2011, when they did so for Ryan Vogelsong…the last time the club won the first six starts of a pitcher’s season was 2003, when they did so for Jason Schmidt.
