Tony Gwynn Tribute

In honor of the passing of Tony Gwynn, the Giants presented Padres Manager Bud Black with a base from his last major league game, played October 7, 2001 at AT&T Park.  The teams observed a moment of silence before tonight’s game in honor of the great baseball player.

Bruce Bochy, I am saddened by the loss of your teammate Tony Gwynn. He epitomized all that was great about baseball and was one of the few who I wanted to have a god game. May his Rest In Peace.

Very nice

Boch and Flannery, teammates of the Greatest Hitter in our time….. My condolences, gents.

Shows what a classy team can do in honor/respect of a classy guy. Very nice.
