TONIGHT’S PITCHING MATCHUP… RHP Ryan Vogelsong (5-4, 3.96) was victim of the Giants’ offensive woes in his last start of Thursday’s 3-1 loss to Cincinnati…Vogelsong held the Reds to a run while striking out seven in 6.0 innings…he’s 3-5 lifetime with a 5.43 ERA in 10 starts against the Cardinals (including the postseason)…RHP Adam Wainwright (10-4, 2.01) held the Dodgers to a run and five hits over 8.0 innings in a 1-0 defeat in his last start on Thursday…the right-hander is 5-5 with a 3.25 ERA in 10 starts (also includes postseason) against SF.
