TODAY’S GAME…The Giants’ wrap up their 10-game homestand today as they host the Atlanta Braves for the final game of this four-game set…RHP Kris Medlen (1-4, 3.25) is scheduled to face RHP Tim Lincecum (2-2, 4.75).

BEATING THE EAST…With a victory today the Giants will win a series vs. an NL East opponent at AT&T Park for the first time since April 16-18, 2012, when they took two of three games from Philadelphia…SF has lost or tied their last five home series against NL East foes.

FRANCISCO PEGUERO… Is 3-for-16 in six games (four starts in LF) since being recalled from triple-A on May 3.

HUNTER PENCE… Is 16-for-44 (.364) with five doubles, three home runs and eight RBI in his past 11 games.

POSEY VS. ATLANTA…C Buster Posey, a native of Leesburg, Georgia, has hit safely in each of his last 10 games against the Braves, batting .410 (16-for-39) with two home runs and 14 RBI.

A RECORD DAY…OF Gregor Blanco’s bases clearing pinch-hit double yesterday marked only the second time in his career he has driven in three runs on one swing of the bat…the other time also came against Atlanta on July 18, 2012 when hit a three-run homer off Chad Durbin (Elias)…Blanco’s four RBI yesterday marked a career-high.

SCUTARO STREAKING…IF Marco Scutaro enters today’s game with an 11-game hitting streak, during which he’s batting .488 (21×43)…prior to this stretch, Scutaro hit just .215 (29×93) through his first 23 games…his current hit streak is tied with STL’s Yadier Molina for the second-longest active hitting streak in the bigs (MIL’s Ryan Braun, 12 games).

Another game, another hero – in the 10th inning Guillermo Quiroz got the 30th hit of the game, a pinch-hit-home-run, which sent everyone home with a smile as the Giants beat LA 10-9. Quick Fact: Out of the Giants 18 victories this year, 11 have been come-from-behind wins.

- Spent most of the season with triple-A Fresno hitting .272 (122-for-449) with 20 2Bs, 10 3Bs, five HRs and 68 RBI in 105 games.
- Entered season ranked as the Giants’ fifth-best prospect according to Baseball America.
- Made his Major League debut with San Francisco on Aug. 25.
- Recorded his first big league hit on Sept.23 off San Diego LHP Eric Stults.
- Was tied for third in the PCL with 10 triples.
