Buster Posey, 2012 Willie Mac Award Winner

Mike Krukow, J.T. Snow, Dave Dravecky, Shawon Dunston, Willie McCovey, Buster Posey, Mike Felder, Matt Cain and Mark Gardner
Buster Posey was awarded the Willie Mac Award on Friday, September 21 during a pregame ceremony. The Willie Mac Award is the most special award a Giant can receive because it is voted on by Giants teammates, coaches and trainers, fans, and Willie Mac himself. Buster was joined by former winners, Mike Krukow (1985 and 1986), J.T. Snow (1997 and 2004), Dave Dravecky (1989), Shawon Dunston (1996), Mike Felder (1992), Matt Cain (2009), Mark Garder (2001) and, of course, Willie McCovey to receive this prestigious award.

The US Open at AT&T Park

Rory McIlroy laughing with Ryan Vogelsong, Matt Cain, Chris Berman and Sergio Romo before the game last night.
In honor of the US Open starting today at the Olympic Club we thought it would be a great idea to recognize the pro golfers who have watched some memorable baseball games at AT&T Park over the last few days.
On Tuesday night Rory McIlroy had a great time throwing out the first pitch and meeting the Giants players. Last night Dustin Johnson stopped by to throw out the first pitch and drive balls into McCovey Cove with Clay Hensley, Matt Cain and J.T. Snow during an event hosted by Taylor Made and Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.
