IN THE STANDINGS… San Francisco enters today’s game just 3.0 games back of LA for first place in the NL West with three head-to-head contests remaining… the Giants currently own the top overall NL Wild Card spot, +2.5 games ahead of the Pirates…SF’s magic number to clinch a Postseason berth stands at eight games.
