Pants Up
In show of team unity, everyone on the field, including Equipment Manger Mike Murphy, wore their pants high today – Barry Zito, Hunter Pence and Brandon Belt were no longer the odd men out when it came to their Giants uniforms.

TONIGHT’S GAME… The Giants’ six-game, seven-day road trip continues tonight with the second game of this four game series against the Rockies… LHP Jorge De La Rosa (4-3, 2.98) is slated to face LHP Madison Bumgarner (4-1, 2.18).

GIANT COMEBACK… The Giants rallied from a six-run deficit last night to defeat the Rockies, 8-6…it was the first time that the Giants won a game in which they trailed by six or more runs since Sept. 23, 2005, when they overcame an identical deficit (6-0) here at Coors Field and won 7-6.

Grateful Dead
The Giants have a tradition of honoring and teaming up with great musicians. In 2013 alone, Giants fans can look forward to Metallica night on May 3, Grateful Dead night on August 5, and Elvis night on September 9. Over the next six days we want to look back at some moments when the Giants pair up with some of the best musicians and acts of our time, starting with San Francisco’s own Grateful Dead.
