Pants Up
In show of team unity, everyone on the field, including Equipment Manger Mike Murphy, wore their pants high today – Barry Zito, Hunter Pence and Brandon Belt were no longer the odd men out when it came to their Giants uniforms.

TONIGHT’S GAME… The Giants’ six-game, seven-day road trip continues tonight with the second game of this four game series against the Rockies… LHP Jorge De La Rosa (4-3, 2.98) is slated to face LHP Madison Bumgarner (4-1, 2.18).

GIANT COMEBACK… The Giants rallied from a six-run deficit last night to defeat the Rockies, 8-6…it was the first time that the Giants won a game in which they trailed by six or more runs since Sept. 23, 2005, when they overcame an identical deficit (6-0) here at Coors Field and won 7-6.

Happy Mother’s Day
From the players on the field to the fans in the stands, we all love our moms! In honor of Mother’s Day and to further demonstrate support for breast cancer, players and on-field personnel from both teams will wear a symbolic pink ribbon on their uniforms today, along with pink wristbands and several players may use Louisville Slugger pink bats stamped with the MLB breast cancer awareness logo. And as a special gift to all the moms who are Giants fans, the Giants posted a win against the Braves.

Giants and Phillies tied at 3. 10th inning – 2 outs. Buster Posey on third. Andres Torres at the plate. On the first pitch Torres hits a 92 mile per hour fastball to right field. Giants Win. Happy Wednesday everyone!

TONIGHT’S GAME…The San Francisco Giants visit the San Diego Padres in the first game of this three game series…RHP Andrew Cashner (0-1, 4.05) is scheduled to take the hill against RHP Tim Lincecum (2-0, 3.97).

TIM LINCECUM AT A GLANCE.. Two-time NL Cy Young winner (2008, 2009) and four-time NL All-Star (2008-11) takes hill for his fifth start of the 2013 season…will mark his 194th career appearance as well as his 193rd start over seven big league campaigns.

2013 SEASON… Made his best start of the season, earning a win in the Giants 2-0 victory over the Padres last Saturday at AT&T Park…tossed a season-high 6.2-scoreless innings, allowing four hits and two walks with a season-high eight strikeouts…marked his longest outing since Aug. 10, 2012 vs COL, when he tossed 7.0 innings.

Buster Posey caught Lincecum for the first time this season in his last start…. The Giants are 4-0 in Lincecum’s first four starts this season…last season SF didn’t win four consecutive starts by Lincecum until Sept. 1-18…they haven’t won five-in-a-row since July 7-330, 2010… Has received 18 runs of support in his first four appearances.

VS. SAN DIEGO… Will make his 24th career start against the Padres…is 11-5 with a 2.33 ERA (39er, 150.2 ip) in 23 career outings…faced San Diego last Saturday at home and tossed 6.2-scoreless innings, allowing four hits and two walks with a season-high eight strikeouts.
Busy Day
It was a busy day here at AT&T Park. Earlier today the Dugout Store at 2nd and King had it’s grand opening, a couple thousand kids participated in the Pony League Parade and Q&A with the Giants, and the Jr. Giants Commissioner’s received awards during the Commissioner’s Meeting – oh yeah, there was also a baseball game.
