TONIGHT’S GAME…The Giants’ 10-game homestand continues tonight as they host the
Philadelphia Phillies for the first of three games…LHP Cliff Lee (2-2, 3.46) is scheduled
to face LHP Madison Bumgarner (3-0, 1.55).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILLIE!…A Giant happy birthday to Hall of Famer and Giants legend Willie Mays, who turns 82 years old today.

WINNING WAYS…This is the Giants’ longest win streak since they won a season-best six games last season from Sept. 17-22…the Giants haven’t won more than seven-straight games since an eight-game streak from Sept. 11-18, 2011.

JEAN MACHI… Has pitched extremely well since being recalled from triple-A Fresno on April 17…in eight appearances has tossed 10.0 innings, allowing one run on nine hits w/eight K’s. Right handed batters are 3-for-19 (.158) off him, while lefties are 6-for-18 (.333).

GUILLERMO QUIROZ… Started just his second game this season last night…has appeared in just 10 games overall.

Tony Bennett is always a fixture at AT&T Park, with “I Left my Heart in San Francisco” playing after every Giants win. He’s visited many times, with his Exploring the Arts Foundation and to sing to fans during playoff games. He even concluded the 2012 World Series Parade ceremony at City Hall with a live performance of the Giants’ victory song.
Buster!
It was Buster Posey’s day at AT&T Park today. During the pregame festivities Buster joined his family and other Giants’ MVPs on the field to accept his MVP and Silver Slugger awards.
