Not a bad day at the office. In the third inning Madison Bumgarner hit his 1st Major League home run which snapped the Giants 16 game homerless streak at AT&T Park, their longest stretch as a franchise since 1918. It was the 1st HR the Giants have hit at home 514 at-bats. Oh yeah, in 7 2/3 innings he also struck out 12 and didn’t walk anyone for his 8th win of the season. Astros 3 — Giants 6
